Played in eight of 11 tournaments… Finished the year with a stroke average of 77.48…Narrowly missed top-20 showing at the Bryan National Collegiate, finishing tied for 22nd with rounds of 73-75-76=224 playing as an individual…Carded a final-round 71 (-1) against a loaded field at the SEC/Pac-12 Challenge to finish tied for 44th…Recorded two rounds of par or better.

2010-11

Full name is Samantha Rae Swinehart…Born October 9, 1991, in Marietta, Ga….Parents are Steve and Terri Swinehart… Her father, Steve, is a 1980 South Carolina graduate and was a reserve quarterback for the Gamecock football team from 1976-79…Her brother, Dane, plays baseball at Belmont University…Has not declared a major…Chose South Carolina because of the coaching staff, team and facilities, and because it is a place she feels she can succeed academically and grow athletically.
