2021
- Enjoyed a breakout year, finishing with a 26-4 record as an individual. That is one win shy of the single-season record for the program, but her .867 win percentage shattered the previous record for the team.
- Went 10-2 against ranked opponents and set a single-season record with 14 wins against conference rivals for the year.
- Breaking down her record, she went 8-1 at No. 2, 9-2 at No. 3 and 9-1 at No. 4.
- Won 11 matches in a row with teammate Jess Vastine, the second-longest win streak ever by a Gamecock pair. As an individual, her 17 game win streak from Feb. 26 to March 21 is a program record.
- Spent most of the season paired with Vastine; the duo’s 17-3 record together set a single-season record for highest pair win percentage (.850).
2020
- Moved into a starting role in year two, playing in 11 of the team’s 12 total duals.
- Paired with Morgyn Greer and went 5-5 in the 5s pairing and 0-1 in the 4s.
- Provided the clinching point in a 3-2 win over Houston Baptist, pulling out a 19-21, 21-18, 15-12 victory (2/22).
- Defeated No. 4 Southern Cal, 17-21, 21-15, 18-16, helping the team upset the Trojans 3-2 (2/29).
- Notched wins over top-10 opponents on back-to-back days, beating No. 9 Pepperdine on March 7 and No. 10 Stetson on March 8.
2019
- Missed most of the season due to injury, but returned in the last month and made one start and had five other matches in the exhibition position.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
- Played as a defensive specialist indoors for coach Tracey Kornau at Lakota West high school.
- Played club volleyball at Ohio Valley Beach Academy for coach Rob Long.
- 2017 USA Volleyball High Performance Zonal U19 gold medalist
- Finished second at the USAV Nationals twice and also has a pair of first-place finishes at AVPNext tournaments.
PERSONAL
- Daughter of Thomas and Judi Smith.
- Older sister Katie played for South Carolina’s beach program from 2017-21, and also has one brother, Nathan.
