Frances Ann Matise Bio
2018: Played in 15 matches in her freshman campaign… Posted a season-high 55 minutes against Missouri (10/18)… Made her Gamecock debut against Fordham (8/17), playing 39 minutes… Made SEC debut against Auburn (9/28), playing 16 minutes… Competed in both NCAA Tournament matches for the Gamecocks, playing 23 minutes against UNCG (11/9) and 19 against Penn State (11/16).
PRE COLLEGE: Played for the Sting of the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL)…competed for Highland Park High School, helping the team capture the state championship in 2017…Highland Park reached the state semifinal round in 2016…earned the Fighting Scot Award (team honor) and received All-District and All-Tournament Team accolades while also serving as a captain for her school.
PERSONAL: Born Oct. 16, 1999…daughter of Fran and Mark Matise…member of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars…served as the Class President and Student Council Senior Class President while at Highland Park…plans to major in cardiovascular technology.
