2020-21: Played in 15 of the Gamecocks 16 matches during the season, starting in one… Registered one assist during the season in the Gamecocks’ 4-1 win over Missouri… Left the program with the fifth-best shot percentage for a career (2018-20) at 22.6 percent.
2019: Had a breakout season for the Gamecocks in 2019, coming off the bench for nearly the entire year… Made one start and appeared in 23 matches, primarily out of the left forward position… Became the first Gamecock to score in three-straight NCAA Tournament matches… Was tied for the third-most goals on the team with five and assisted on two more for a total of 12 points, the fifth most on the team… Made only start of the season in the season opener against No. 21 NC State, playing 42 minutes… Played in a season-high 55 minutes against Florida (Oct. 27) and against Washington State (Nov. 29)… Scored first goal of the season against Georgia (Sept. 20)… Scored the game-tying goal against Florida (Oct. 27) to help Carolina draw with the Gators… Scored an insurance goal against Samford in the NCAA Tournament in a 3-0 victory… Scored in consecutive matches for the first time in her career when she netted the game-winning goal against Notre Dame in a 1-0 victory to help Carolina advance to the Third Round… Scored a huge insurance goal against Kansas in the NCAA Third Round to help Carolina reach the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals for the third time in four seasons… Had the best shot percentage (.313) on the team (min. 10 shots), the sixth-best in a single season in Carolina history… Through two seasons has the second best shot percentage (.291) in South Carolina women’s soccer history… Five of her nine goals on goal this season resulted in goals…
2018: Competed in 17 matches for the Gamecocks, starting in one… Made South Carolina debut against Fordham (8/17), registering the game-winning goal on her lone shot of the match and playing a season-high 68 minutes… Made first career start against NC State (8/26) on the road, playing 51 minutes… Scored insurance goal against No. 11 Tennessee (9/16) to help obtain the 2-0 road win… Registered a season-high three shots against Tennessee… Finished with eight shots, three on goal… Played in a total of 531 minutes in her freshman campaign.
PRE COLLEGE: Played for Midwest United FC (2017-18) and the Michigan Hawks (2015-17) at the club level…participated in the 2016 Elite Clubs National League Training Camp…named to the 2017 National Tournament Top XI after helping the Hawks win the national title that year…earned All-Conference, All-District and First-Team All-State honors while playing for East Kentwood High School…East Kentwood won its conference, district and region and made it to the state’s final four during her time there.
PERSONAL: Born Oct. 15, 1999…daughter of Bellatriz Rintala and Sean Tanner…member of the National Honor Society as well as East Kentwood’s Student-Athlete All-Academic Team…her sister Brittany plays soccer at Michigan State…plans to major in biological sciences.
