2022 (GRADUATE STUDENT)
- Put together one of the most dazzling seasons by a defender in program history, culminating in the postseason by being named the SEC’s Libero of the Year. She is the first Gamecock to earn the award from the conference’s coaches since the team joined the SEC in 1991 and is just the third student-athlete from Carolina to have earned an individual award in that span.
- Also made the 18-woman All-SEC team, marking the sixth season in a row for a Gamecock to be recognized on the postseason list but the first time a libero represented the program.
- Finished the postseason awards round-up with a spot on the AVCA’s All-Southeast Region team, making her the 15th member of the program to make the list.
- Finished the fall with 460 digs, the sixth-most in a single season in the rally scoring era. She is the 10th woman to surpass 450 digs in a season in the program’s 49-year history.
- Had 317 digs in SEC play alone, fourth most for South Carolina since joining the league in 1991 and her 4.53 digs per set in conference play led all individuals.
- Went four games in a row with 20 or more digs, her six total matches over 20 digs are the most in a single season for South Carolina since 1996.
- Accounted for over 35 percent of the team’s total digs, the highest percentage by a single player since official stats were first recorded in 1984 – only two other individuals have even cracked the 30 percent barrier.
PREVIOUS SCHOOL
- Played four seasons at Penn State, totaling 112 matches played.
- Totaled 1,077 digs and 54 service aces in her career as a Nittany Lion.
- During her career there, Penn State reached the NCAA tournament’s regional final in her freshmen and sophomore seasons and collected first-round wins in 2020-21 and 2021.
- Led all Big 10 passers with 4.83 digs per set in conference play for the 2021 season.
- Over Penn State’s 32 matches in 2021, she recorded 20 or more digs 10 times and finished the season with 530 digs – third-most in the Big 10 and 36th-most in the country.
