Bryan Wells

Bryan Wells

Bryan Wells is the head athletic trainer for the South Carolina baseball and men’s soccer programs.

A native of St Petersburg, Fla., Bryan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in athletic training from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla., and earned his master’s in health administration from Columbus State University in Columbus, Ga.

Bryan came to South Carolina from the University of Kentucky where he was the head baseball athletic trainer for the Wildcats for three years. Prior to his time in Lexington, Bryan spent 6 years at Lander University in Greenwood, S.C., where he served as the head athletic trainer and insurance coordinator for their men’s soccer and baseball programs. He also served as a clinical instructor and lecturer in Lander’s athletic training education program.

Bryan also has completed professional internships with the San Francisco Giants and Toronto Blue Jays organizations, as well as an NFL internship with the Philadelphia Eagles. He is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association certified in CPR/AED and first aid.

Bryan and his wife, Lauren have two children, Delaney Kate and Evan.
