Colby Arendale

Colby Arendale was hired as Director of Operations on Lamont Paris’ new staff at South Carolina on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. He served in the same capacity at Chattanooga under Paris for the past three seasons (2019-22).

In that role, he served as the point person for travel and managed every organizational need for the program. Arendale was a student manager for the Mocs in 2017-18 and then served as a graduate manager from 2018-19.

A native of Chattanooga, Tenn., Arendale recently completed his MBA.

“I hired Colby in Chattanooga as one of the youngest directors of operations in Division I basketball after working his way up from manager then graduate assistant,” said Paris. “His organizational skills combined with his ‘get ‘er done’ mentality make him an incredible asset to our program.”

Arendale and his wife Kaitlyn, formally Ray, were married in 2022. They are avid Tennessee Titans fans.
