Courtney McFarlan

Courtney McFarlan joined the Gamecock Athletics staff as an Assistant Director of Compliance in November of 2023.

McFarlan came to Carolina after a stint at Kennesaw State University where she performed a myriad of duties as an Assistant Director of Compliance for the Owls.

A Woodbury, Minn., native, McFarlan graduated from Iowa State University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, then earned a Master’s degree in sport management from Grand View University in Des Moines. She worked as an administrative assistant in the Simpson College (Indianola, Iowa) athletic department and served as a graduate assistant in the Iowa State compliance office while earning her advanced degree.

McFarlan and her husband, Garrison, make their home in West Columbia.
