Jacob Oehrlein

Jacob Oehrlein joined the Gamecocks’ football staff in January 2026, serving as an offensive analyst.

Oehrlein spent the 2025 season as an assistant tight ends coach at TCU.

Oehrlein played quarterback and saw action as the holder on placements while attending SMU. He earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference All-Academic team after both his freshman and sophomore seasons.

Oehrlein was a two-time all-district second-team selection on the gridiron at Brenham (Texas) High School. He also lettered in basketball, baseball, golf and track.
