Jeff Tallant

Jeff Tallant accepted the position as chief financial officer for the University of South Carolina athletics department in March 2006.

Tallant worked as the athletics budget director from 2002 to 2005, overseeing all accounting operations for the department and for the Colonial Center. The Columbia native has been a USC employee since 1997, serving for five years as a university senior auditor before joining the athletics department.

Tallant, a graduate of Lower Richland High School, is a 1996 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and certified business manager (CBM). He is a member of the South Carolina Association of CPAs (SCACPA) and has served as vice president for the South Carolina State Internal Auditors Association (SCSIAA).

Tallant and his wife, Dani, have three children, Chaz, Ty and Kenzie.
