Mike Anthony
Mike Anthony joined the Gamecocks’ football staff in January of 2026 as an offensive analyst.
Anthony comes to Columbia after spending three seasons at TCU, working as a senior offensive analyst assistant (2023), assistant wide receivers coach (2024) and assistant quarterbacks coach (2025), where he worked closely with Kendal Briles.
Anthony has SEC experience as well, holding the title of Offensive Quality Control at Arkansas from 2020-2022.
Anthony was a four-year student assistant with the Baylor football program from 2009 to 2012, graduating in 2013 with a degree in Health and Human Performance, After graduation, Anthony remained on the Baylor staff, working as a Assistant Quality Control specialist (2013), Assistant Director of Football Operations (2014), and Offensive Analyst (2015-2016). Overall, he spent eight seasons working in various duties for the Bears’ football program.
Anthony spent the 2017 season as an offensive analyst at FAU, then joined the Houston football staff as an offensive football analyst in the spring of 2018. He worked on the Florida State staff as a Senior Offensive Analyst in 2019.
John Michael “Mike” Anthony lettered two years at Kilgore (Texas) High School as a center and served as captain as a senior in 2007. Anthony was named to the 2007 Academic All-State Team.
