COLUMBIA, S.C. –
Today’s softball game scheduled between South Carolina and Campbell at Beckham Field has been postponed indefinitely due to the imminent threat of rain in the Columbia area. No makeup date has been determined at this time.

This marks the fourth game that the Gamecocks have had affected by the weather this season. The opening weekend of action was marred by two cancellations and one opponent change thanks to snowfall that amounted to 8.5 inches at Columbia Metropolitan Airport, the fifth-highest total in recorded history.

The Gamecocks return to action this weekend at the Florida Atlantic Miken Tournament, where they take on Providence at 11 a.m. on Saturday to start a 11-game road swing.
