COLUMBIA, S.C. – After taking a weekend off due to fall break, South Carolina’s softball team looks to keep its fall exhibition record flawless when it hosts Coker at 5 p.m. on Friday afternoon at Beckham Field.

The Gamecocks have swept doubleheaders from Spartanburg Methodist College and USC Aiken in their previous outings this fall. Junior Lindsay Walker has six hits in the four games, tops among the Gamecocks. Freshman Hannah Milks has been a force on the basepaths, stealing two bags in one game.

The Lady Cobras of Coker went 22-19 last year, finishing eighth in the Division III Conference Carolinas. Coker did make a run in the conference tournament to the finals, falling in the championship game by just a run. Second-team all-conference infielder Anna Oswald returns to lead the squad.

Admission to Friday’s twinbill at Beckham Field is free.
