Hey Gamecock fans!!! My name is PJ Fulmer, and I am a junior from Blythewood, SC. If you read Sam’s blog last week, you probably remember reading about how it was our fall break. Fall break is when we get two extra days off from school. Being a spring sport, it also meant we got to enjoy two days without team practice and weights as well. I still went to the field to practice and get in some good cardio; however, it was on my time, which is always nice to be able to do.

My fall break had many highlights. Thursday and Friday were spent lounging around and doing whatever came to mind. Friends came over for a cookout and beach volleyball, and the night was topped off watching Grey’s Anatomy. I was even able to clean my room on Friday, which was in dire need of help. Friday night, I went to see Walking with Dinosaurs at the Colonial Life Arena. The show was actually really good, and the dinosaurs looked so realistic. Saturday was spent lounging at a friends apartment, curled up eating doughnuts, chips and dip and watching college football. At least one of my teams won. But the highlight of fall break occurred on Sunday. I finally had enough free time to go see the double feature of Toy Story and Toy Story 2 in 3D. I felt like a little kid. I love Disney movies.

But now fall break is over, and it’s back to working hard not just on the field but in school. As a team, we are going to pick up where we left off: practicing hard and getting ready for our doubleheader this Friday night against Coker. As a student, well, all of my midterms were not before break, so I will be doing some studying. Hope to see y’all out at the games this Friday and wish me luck on these midterms. GO COCKS!
