PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – University of South Carolina freshman Booker Nunley placed second Friday night in the 110m hurdles at the Pan American Junior Championships held at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad.

Nunley took home silver medal honors with a time of 13.32, setting a new PR and solidifying a 1-2 Team USA finish in the event. His time bests the 2005 Pan Am record in the event set by South Carolina teammate Johnny Dutch at 13.46.

Nunley’s silver medal run comes after he took third overall in the preliminary round at 13.60.
