Suite packages are now available for South Carolina baseball fans interested in watching the Gamecocks play this season at the new Carolina Stadium, the Athletics Department announced today.
Three partial season suite packages include every home weekend series with each Friday, Saturday and Sunday divided up randomly to allow everyone an opportunity to enjoy the different atmospheres of a weekend series in the SEC. The cost is $12,000 per package and suite holders will additionally be responsible for the purchase of 12 tickets at $8 per game (the Clemson game tickets are priced at $12 each). A suite can also be purchased for the entire season for $35,000 plus tickets.
Package Number One features the home opener, the first Clemson home game and games against past South Carolina coaches, including Monte Lee (College of Charleston), Jerry Meyers (Old Dominion) and Stuart Lake (Charleston Southern). It features a total of 11 games, including seven weekend games and four weekday games.
Package Number Two features the midweek home game against Clemson. The 11-game package includes six weekend games and five weekday games.
Package Number Three features a total of 12 games (one more than the other two packages), including seven weekend games and five weekday games.
If any suites remain available after the full and partial season packages have been sold, they can be purchased on a game-by-game basis. Prices are set at $2,000 for the Clemson games, $1,500 for an SEC game and $1,000 for any other non-conference game. Again, suite holders will be responsible for the purchase of 12 tickets at $8 per game ($12 for the Clemson games).

South Carolina is one of only five schools in the nation to have made seven NCAA Super Regional appearances over the last nine years (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007). In the previous nine seasons, Carolina owns the fifth highest total of wins in the country (428) and has won more SEC games than any team in the league (162). In addition, the Gamecocks have made nine consecutive postseason appearances, the longest current streak among the 12 SEC schools. South Carolina also has three College World Series trips (2002, 2003, 2004), two SEC championships (2000, 2002) and one SEC tournament title (2004) in that span.
