COLUMBIA, S.C. –
South Carolina softball continues SEC action this weekend as they host the Arkansas Lady Razorbacks in a three-game series, April 8-9 at Beckham Field. Saturday’s doubleheader is scheduled for 1 p.m. and game three on Sunday is set for 1 p.m. The Gamecocks are hoping to snap an eight-game losing streak and are in search of their first conference series win this season.

USC enters the weekend 22-20 and 2-13 in the conference, while Arkansas is 16-23 and 5-10 in the SEC. The Lady Backs have also lost eight straight. In their last outing, Arkansas lost a doubleheader to Kansas.

South Carolina leads the series 16-9 and won the series 3-0 last year in Fayetteville. The Gamecocks have won the last 10 meetings against Arkansas.
