Tickets for South Carolina’s opening baseball game in the 2004 NCAA College World Series will go on sale Monday morning at the USC Athletic Ticket Office on Rosewood Drive. The telephone number is 1-800-4SC-FANS or 803/777-4274.

The Gamecocks, who are making their record third straight trip to Omaha, will receive an allotment of 660 reserved tickets for their first game next Saturday (6/19). Gamecock Club members, USC students and faculty will have first priority in ordering these tickets. For game two on Monday (6/21), USC will only receive 330 tickets, per NCAA policy. Single game reserved tickets are $17 and are good for just the games that Carolina is playing. Fans may pick their tickets up at the USC ticket will call at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha.

General admission tickets are available through the following avenues in Omaha:

1. Charge By Phone

Rosenblatt’s secondary box office, the Omaha Civic Auditorium, will accept orders using a credit card until June 16. For orders received between June 10-16, books will be available at Rosenblatt Stadium’s “will call” window for pick up.
Call (402) 444-4750 for credit card orders. You may skip the prerecorded message by pressing “0” and asking for the box office. For orders of 1-4 books, the cost will be $52 per book plus $3 shipping and handling. (Example: one book for $55, two books for $107). For orders of 5-9 books, the cost is $52 per book plus $6 shipping and handling. Shipping on 10 books in $9. Order limit of 10 books.

Purchasing Single GA Tickets

Single GA tickets ($8 each) go on sale at 10am the day of the game and are available at the Rosenblatt Stadium box office only. Single general admission tickets are not sold in advance and are not available via TicketMaster.

Upgrading General Admission Tickets

Based on availability of reserved seats, GA tickets may be upgraded to reserved seats by paying the difference in price between a reserved and GA ticket. Upgrades are available only at the Rosenblatt box office and go on sale at 10am for that day of games only and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. When upgrading general admission tickets to reserved tickets, the limit is six tickets for qualifying games and four for Championship games.

Once the College World Series begins, a limited number of reserved seats are available on a daily basis at the Rosenblatt Stadium box office.

Approximately 1,200 are available each game and of those 1,200, about 450 have possible view obstructions. Those purchasing obstructed view tickets are told they are obstructed view and it is printed on the ticket. There is no discount for obstructed view tickets.Walk-up orders only. No phone orders will be accepted. The Rosenblatt box office opens at 10am each day. Tickets sold in the morning are for the games later that same day.

South Carolina will play its first game in the CWS next Saturday, June 19 against either Cal-State Fullerton or Tulane. Game time will either be 2:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. (eastern time). ESPN will televise the game nationally.
