COLUMBIA – The University of South Carolina baseball team went 1-3 on the week, falling to Presbyterian in the midweek and winning 1-of-3 games at Missouri.

NOTES:
Noah Hall earned the win on Friday night at Missouri, allowing just three hits and one run with four strikeouts and no walks in seven innings of work. Hall picked up his first win as a Gamecock in the season opener.
Josiah Sightler homered three times in the Missouri series, including going deep twice in Friday’s win. He also had a home run in Sunday’s series finale. Sightler had four home runs on the season and 11 in his career.
Brandt Belk will carry a 16-game hitting streak into Tuesday’s game against North Carolina. Belk had four RBI in Saturday’s game against Missouri. Belk leads the Gamecocks with a .347 batting average and also has four home runs on the year.
Carolina faces North Carolina in Charlotte on Tuesday night at Truist Field. The Gamecocks then host Georgia in a three-game SEC series. Sunday’s game will be televised on SEC Network.
