Softball to Play 10 Games on National Television

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina softball is set for at least 10 games on linear channels and 39 on digital platforms, including all 34 home games. Out of the 58 scheduled games, 49 (85 percent) will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks (SEC Network, SEC Network+, ESPNU, ESPNews, ESPN+, and ACC Network).

The Gamecocks are scheduled for 38 games on SEC Network+, seven on SEC Network, and one each on ESPNU, ESPNews, and ACCN. Additionally, two road games will be on ESPN+. Carolina’s first nine home broadcasts will feature student broadcasters from the university’s journalism school.

The SEC Network will also have live coverage of the 2022 SEC Softball Tournament, which is set for May 10-14 at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium in Gainesville, Florida.
