2021
Indoor: Did not compete.
Outdoor: Ran twice for Carolina … Competed in the 800 meters at the USC Open and took 32nd with a time of 1:59.55 … Ran in the 1,500 meters at the Weems Baskin and took eighth with a time of 4:18.04.
2020
Indoors: Ran in four meets as an individual for the Gamecocks, primarily in the Mile Run… Set a PR in the Mile Run at the Carolina Challenge, clocking a time of 4:26.27… Set a total of three PRs in the indoor season, clocking a 2:34.70 in the 1000m and a 2:00.14 in the 800m… Competed in the DMR at the 2020 SEC Championships.
Outdoors: Cancelled.
2019
Indoors: Did not compete.
Outdoors: Ran the 800m, the 1500m and the 3000m as a sophomore… finished seventh in the 800m at the Buccaneer Invitational with a time of 1:57.69… finished 14th in his first collegiate 3K with a time of 9:19.18 at the USC Outdoor Open.
2018
Indoors: Was Carolina’s top performer in the 1000m and the mile… finished 11th in the 1000m at the Navy Winter Invitational with a time of 2:37.49… ran the mile in his final three appearances, with a top time of 4:26.53 at the Clemson Invitational.
Outdoors: Took part in the 800m and the 1500m over the course of six meets… had his top 800m run at the Weems Baskin Invitational, finishing 18th with a mark of 1:57.61… ran the 800 at the SEC Championships, coming in 27th… grabbed three top-10 finishes in the 1500, including a season-best 4:04.06 to finish seventh at the Weems.
High School Was a four-year letterman at Glen Allen High School under head coach Jenn Ennis… Was a seven-time conference champion, a five-time regional champion and a two-time state champion in the 4x800m relay… Also earned All-America honors in the DMR… Led the Jaguars to their first ever state runner-up finish in cross country as a junior in 2016.
Personal Son of Stephen and Rhonda Story… Plans to major in pre-business at Carolina… Chose Carolina because it felt like home and the perfect fit for him.
