Baseball Earns Three Recruiting Class Rankings
COLUMBIA – The University of South Carolina baseball team’s recruiting class has been ranked in the top 25 in three rankings that were announced this week. Carolina’s 2022 class is 18th in Collegiate Baseball, 20th in Perfect Game and 23rd in Baseball America.
Baseball America also ranked the Gamecocks’ 10-man transfer class No. 9 in the country.
Carolina earned a spot in the top-25 in Baseball America’s rankings for the 13th consecutive year, the third longest active streak in the country.
The Gamecocks open fall scrimmages this afternoon (Friday, Sept. 23) at 3:30 p.m. All scrimmages are free and open to the public.
