High School
Competed for St. Thomas Aquinas High, ranking as one of the top distance runners in Kansas during her career… Concentrated on the 800m as a senior, winning the 5A Regional #8 with a personal best 2:19.89… Ranked 12th at the Kansas State Track & Field Championships that year… As a junior, she placed fifth in the 1600m and third in the 3200m at the state meet… Compiled her best times of 5:12.73 (1600m) in the Barrier Breakers International and 11:07.77 (3200m) in the Kansas Relays that year… As a sophomore, finished third in the 800m in the Kansas state meet… In cross country, posted her top 5K time of 19:01.40 in her final high school race in the Nike Cross Heartland Regionals… Finished in the top 25 four straight years in the Kansas City Metro Championships, winning it in 2013 while finishing 11th as a senior… Ranked 16th in the 2015 Kansas State Cross Country Championship after ranking eighths the year before… Helped her track team win three-straight state titles… A two-time Academic All-State honoree in cross country… A commended National Merit scholar while also claiming the Presidential Service Award… Graduated summa cum laude… Earned the Pax Christi Award, the highest award given at St. Thomas Aquinas, handed to the 15 students, voted on by the student body, that represent the qualities of fine Christian men and women.

Personal
The daughter of Steve and Sheila Dietsch… Her uncle, Roger Witek, played football at Illinois… Chose SC over Kansas, TCU and Alabama because she felt at home on the Columbia campus… Also enjoys the fact that South Carolina provides the perfect mix of athletics and academics… Majoring in international business/finance.
