2017
Indoors: Ran both the 200m and 400m for the Gamecocks… in the 200, made the finals at the Armory Invitational and finished fourth to score for the Gamecocks… placed 19th in the 200 at the SEC Championships… earned one podium in the 400, at the Clemson Invitational, and finished 24th at SECs… was part of the 4x400m relay that won the Clemson Invitational.
Outdoors: Primarily focused on the 200m individually… earned second place at the first meet of the season, the Hurricane Invitational… took another podium with a third-place result at the USC Open… ran a PR at the SEC Championships (46.82) to finish 18th… qualified for the NCAA East Regional and advanced to the quarterfinals, where he placed 22nd in his final individual race… was an integral part of Carolina’s relay teams… part of the 4x100m squad that won three regular-season events and qualified for the East Regional… finished eighth at Regionals to qualify for the NCAA Championships with a time of 39.12, eighth-best in Carolina history… took 15th at Nationals in the 4×1 to end his career with second-team All-America honors… Also ran the 4×200 and 4×400 relays as a senior.

2016
Indoors: Ran the team’s top 400m time of the season, a new personal best of 47.39, at the SEC Indoor Championship prelim… remained a key member of the relays, running the lead leg of the 4x400m relay team that scored at the conference meet with a top seasonal time of 3:10.25.
Outdoors: Regional qualifier in the 400m… posted his fastest quarter mile of the season (47.08) to place 11th at the Florida Relays… won the 400 and 4x400m at the Spec Towns Invite… posted a personal best for the 200m after running 21.47 (1.4) at the Shamrock Invite… had a busy weekend at the Penn Relays, where he helped the 4x400m team place fifth and won a wagon wheel with the 4x200m relay team.

2015
Indoors: Ran the 400 in five meets… ran a 48.36 at the Hokie Invite, earning him his best finish of the season — 3rd place… crossed in 47.86 at the SEC Indoor Championship, his best time of the season… also ran as a member of the 4×2 and 4×4 relay teams.
Outdoors: Regional qualifier in the 400… recorded two top-three finishes in the 400… ran on 4×1, 4×2 and 4×4 relay teams… finished second at the Bill Carson Invite with a season-best time of 46.97… ran a tremendous anchor leg on the 4×4 relay team at the SEC Championships, leading the team to a bronze medal and the fourth-fastest time in school history (3:03.13)… ran in the 400 at the championships also, finishing 18th with a time of 47.77… qualified for nationals as part of the 4×1 and 4×4 relay teams.

2014
Indoors: Sprinter that focused on the 60 and 200 meter distances…posted a personal best 6.88 to take second in the 60 at the Virginia Tech Challenge…also finished second in the 200 meters at the Virginia Tech Challenge, running his best time of 21.46…at his first SEC Indoor Championships, finished 21st in the 60 (6.95) and 19th in the 200 (21.68).
Outdoors: Mainly ran the 400 meters, capturing a fourth place finish in the 400m at the Bill Carson Invitational (48.51)…ran his best time in the 400 at his first SEC Outdoor Championships, placing 21st with a time of 48.08…in his lone 100 meter event of the season, running an 11.09 into a strong headwind.

HIGH SCHOOL
Earned four letters in track and field and one in basketball at Miami Springs Senior High School…2013 200m Regional Champion…2010 FHSAA State meet 100m champion with a personal best of 10.85…best 200m time is 21.62.

PERSONAL
Son of Pablo and Carolyn…has two siblings, Christine and Pablo…brother Pablo plays baseball at Florida International…also considered USF, FAU and Pittsburgh.
