Did not compete due to spending the academic semester studying abroad.
2016 Track
Indoor: Ran the mile at four meets… had a top time of 5:00.67 at the Conference Clash, good for 20th place overall and a new personal best… finished 19th in the mile at the SEC Championship (5:00.69).
Outdoors: Moved to the 1500m outdoors… improved her time in each of her three races for the season, topping out with a new personal best of 4:26.23 at the SEC Championship.
2015 Cross Country
Competed in three races… ran 19:44.40 to place 33rd at the Winthrop Invite 5K… crossed with her best 6K time of the season at the SEC Championship, running 23:08.60.
2015 Track
Did not compete indoors or outdoors.
2014 Cross Country
Competed in all six 5K/6K races for the team, recording two top-10 finishes…opened the outdoor season with a ninth-place finish at the Carolina Invitational 5K, with a time of 19:50.77 (8/30)… claimed seventh in the USC Open #1 5K, with a time of 19:11.04 (9/13)… helped USC win the Charlotte Invitational 6K after taking 38th overall in a time of 23:47.1 (9/26)… ran a season-best time of 22:21 at the Paul Short Invite (10/4)… competed in the SEC Championship, finishing 105th in a time of 22:51.0 (10/31)… finished 121st overall after running in 22:28.5 at the Southeast Regional.
2014 Track
Indoor: Did not compete.
Outdoor: Made three appearances in the 1,500 meters, clocking a best of 4:50.97 at the Bill Carson Invite to take 11th…posted a pair of top four finishes at the Gamecocks’ home meets, taking fourth at Weems Baskin (4:52.12) and third at the USC Outdoor Open (4:56.06)
2013 Cross Country
Ran a 20:21.68 in the Carolina Challenge, finishing 29th overall.
HIGH SCHOOL
Compiled five letters in cross country and four in track for coach Catherine Lempesis at Lexington High School … Won the state cross country title in 2012 after finishing second as a junior in 2011 … The 2010 South Carolina 4A Cross Country Runner of the Year … Won two state titles in track: the 2011 1600m and as part of the 2013 4x800m relay team for the Wildcats … Finished third in the state 4A 1600m race in 2010 and second in 2013 … Four-time track distance MVP and three-time cross country team MVP.

Meridith Judith Heneage is the daughter of John and Kathleen Heneage and is the middle of three daughters, with older sister Amanda and younger sister Julianna … Dad John is a nuclear engineer … Two cousins, Julie and Caitlin King, both played soccer at Auburn.
