2014: Indoors – Entered the 3,000 meters at two of the Gamecocks[apos] home meets, finishing in the top five at both meets…used hisbest time of 9:21.62 to place second at the Gamecock Indoor #2…Outdoors – ran the 3K and 5K…started the season with his top 5,000 meter time at the Shamrock Invite at 15:57.27…took fifth at Weems Baskin in the 5K (16:01.83)…in his lone 3,000-meter race, turned in a 9:22.91 at the Bill Carson Invitational (12th)
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned letters in three different sports: tennis, cross country and track.
PERSONAL: Son of James and Lee McCarter… has one older sibling, Kelsey… majoring in electrical engineering.
