Baseball No. 13 in Perfect Game Preseason Poll

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The University of South Carolina baseball team is 13^th in the Perfect Game 2024 Preseason Top-25 poll, announced this morning (Friday, Jan. 5).

The Gamecocks are one of eight SEC teams in the top 15 spots of the poll. Wake Forest earned the top spot, followed by Arkansas, LSU, Florida and TCU.

Carolina ended the 2023 season ranked 11^th by Perfect Game after winning the Columbia Regional and advancing to the Gainesville Super Regional.

On Thursday, Perfect Game announced its Preseason All-Americans. Ethan Petry was named a first team outfielder while Cole Messina was a third team catcher.
