Gamecocks Prepped for Final Regular Season Meet

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina women’s cross country team embarks on its last 6K of the season at the East Carolina Pirate Invitational at Overton’s Lake Kristi in Grimesland, N.C. on Friday at 4 p.m.
 
Traveling with the Gamecocks for their last meet of October are: Morgan Adams, Savannah Bowers, Elizabeth Davison, Leah Ford, Kelsey Larkin, Morgan Lee, Sarah-Sims McGrath, Hillary Neely, Sarah Riser, Anna Kathryn Stoddard and Hannah Twine.
 
The women’s 6K is scheduled for 4 p.m. followed by the men’s 8K at approximately 4:40 p.m.
 
Including Carolina, 17 women’s teams are entered into Friday’s race. Those teams are: VCU, Methodist, Elizabeth City State, Coastal Carolina, NC State, Western Carolina, Richmond, Elon, East Carolina, College of Charleston, UNC Greensboro, Barton, UNCW, Hampton, Norfolk State, North Carolina Wesleyan and Saint Augustine.
