2010: NCAA Regional qualifier in the pole vault … indoors, earned bronze medal honors in the pole vault at a season best 16-10.75 (5.15m) … outdoors, had a top mark of 17-08.50 (5.40m) to take second at the Penn Relays … groin injury aggravated his outdoor season … tied for sixth at the NCAA Preliminary Round at 17-00 (5.20m), missing a spot to Eugene due to tiebreakers.

2009: Outdoor NCAA participant … top freshman vaulter in the nation outdoors with a fourth place finish … Indoor and Outdoor Freshman All-SEC … NCAA East Region meet silver medalist … SEC bronze medalist and the only freshman to score in the pole vault with a clearance of 17-00 (5.18m) … Cleared the same height to take fifth at the NCAA Last Chance Meet … Won the Gamecock Invitational and the Tom Jones Memorial Classic with clearances of 16-08 3/4 (5.10m) in both meets … Took second in his first collegiate event, clearing 16-06 3/4 (5.05m) at the Kentucky Invitational … outdoors, placed in the top five in every meet … took second at the Penn Relays … took third at the UNC Elite Meet … finished fifth at the SEC Outdoor Championships at 16-10 3/4 (5.15m) … earned silver at the NCAA East Region with a clearance of 17-03 (5.26m) … hit a collegiate best 17-06 1/2 (5.35m) to place fourth at outdoor nationals.
