Baseball Opens Fall Ball This Week with Four Scrimmages

COLUMBIA – The University of South Carolina will open fall team practice with four scrimmages at Founders Park this week, it was announced on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 29).

The Gamecocks will play at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Monday’s scrimmage will last two innings with Tuesday’s scrimmage lasting 2.5 frames. Wednesday and Thursday’s scrimmages will be 3-inning contests.

All scrimmages are free and open to the public.
