Women’s Tennis Announces 2025 Spring Schedule
COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s tennis head coach Kevin Epley announced the 2025 spring schedule, released on Wednesday. The season consists of 20 regular season dual matches including two double headers.
The Gamecocks open the season at home, welcoming Charleston Southern and Coastal Carolina for a double header on Jan. 19 before jumping into tournament play the following week. The team attends the ITA Kickoff in Charlottesville, Virginia on Jan. 24, facing Duke in the first round. If the Gamecocks advance, they will compete against the winner of a dual match between Virginia and New Mexico for the second round. Depending on the results of the ITA Kickoff, South Carolina will next either attend the ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Illinois beginning Feb. 7, or head to Georgia Tech for a dual match on Feb. 8.
On Feb. 11 South Carolina faces rival Clemson on the road before returning home to host the final doubleheader of the season against Wake Forest and Western Carolina on Feb. 15, wrapping up non-conference play.
Conference matches for the season begin in Athens as the Gamecocks compete against reigning SEC Champion Georgia on Feb. 22. The team hosts Florida and Auburn on Feb. 28 and March 2, respectively, before heading back on the road to take on Tennessee on March 7.
On March 9 South Carolina hosts Kentucky. The next week the team competes in two matches on the road, first heading to Ole Miss on March 14 followed by LSU on March 16.
The Gamecocks host Oklahoma (March 21) and Arkansas (March 23) for a weekend before heading back on the road to face Mississippi State (March 28) and Alabama (March 30), respectively.
To wrap up the regular season the team has a pair of home matches and pair of away matches, starting with welcoming Missouri on April 4 followed by Vanderbilt on April 6. The following weekend they head to Texas to take on Texas A&M on April 11 and University of Texas on April 13.
The SEC Championship takes place April 16-20 at Auburn University’s Yarbrough Tennis Center.
