Gamecocks Looking For Field of Dreams and Bat Girl Registrations
COLUMBIA, S.C. —-The South Carolina softball program is looking for youth softball teams, in the eighth grade and younger, to sign up to join them on the field during the National Anthem for its Field of Dreams program as well as individual kids in the eighth grade or younger to sign up to join them in the dugout as a bat girl.
Those interested can use the links listed above to sign up today as spots will go fast.
For Field of Dreams, make sure to register for each game that you would like to participate in by the deadline, as each registration must be received five days prior to the select game. Field of dream participants and their guests will each receive a $1 ticket. You must have a minimum of 6 youth softball players registered to participate in the Field of Dreams. Once your sign-up has been processed, you will receive details about purchasing tickets via email.
For bat girls, remember to wear athletic clothing to games once selected. Each bat girl will receive a t-shirt to wear and will borrow a helmet for safety. Registrations must be received five days prior to the select game.
Gamecock Softball is also excited to host high schools throughout the area each SEC Saturday. If you would like to bring your team to a game, please read the instructions below:
If your team would like to come to a game, please select the game in the link above and fill out the form. If your team would like to attend multiple games, please fill out one form per game.
We ask that the head coach or designee fill out the form. Once completed, the Gamecocks’ marketing department will email the head coach or designee with a separate form within one business day of submitting the form on the website. The form on the website and the separate form sent by the marketing department must be submitted three (3) business days prior to the game in order to receive complimentary tickets.
Each player that will be submitted on the form sent by the marketing department will be allowed to bring a maximum of two guests with them. Each coach that attends will also be able to bring one guest.
