Cassity Brewer Bio

Honors College

Cassity enters her second year as a Gamecock. Despite a calf injury that hindered her performance last season, she remained competitive. The high mileage base she has built over summer should allow her to race to new PR[apos]s this fall.

In high school, Cassity was the team captain at Spring Valley and a four-time member of the all-region cross country team. She was three-time selection for the all-region track team. She was a member of the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society. She graduated in the top five percent of her class and she is a member of the Sigma Alpha Lambda Honor Society.

In the summer of 2008, Cassity worked at Strictly Running in Columbia. Her favorite hobbies include eating ice cream, hanging out with friends and running. She is the daughter of Don and Tamara Brewer.
