Track & Field, Cross Country Programs Launch New Instagram Account
Carolina fans have another opportunity to take an inside look at both programs
COLUMBIA, S.C. — The University of South Carolina track & field and cross country programs are proud to introduce a new Instagram account for the 2018-19 season. Gamecock fans looking to follow the track & field and cross country teams on Instagram can follow the account by searching for ‘GamecockTrackXC’ the next time they log in to Instagram.
Carolina’s new Instagram account will provide exclusive content on the track & field and cross country programs, including pictures and videos from training sessions, team activities and competitions throughout the year. Additionally, Gamecock student-athletes from the two programs will provide content that can only be accessed by following GamecockTrackXC.
“We are thrilled for the opportunity to give Gamecock fans another way to follow our team through our new Instagram account,” head coach Curtis Frye said. “I’m especially excited that we’re getting our student-athletes involved. This will truly be a unique way for supporters and future Gamecocks to see what life is like inside of our program.”
As always, fans can continue to follow the Gamecocks through the team’s official Twitter and Facebook accounts.
The Carolina cross country season begins Saturday, Sept. 1, when the Gamecocks host the 2018 Carolina Challenge. The 2019 track & field schedule will be released in the coming weeks and will feature five home meets, including three competitions at the team’s renovated indoor facility.
