SEC Tournament Brackets Finalized

COLUMBIA, S.C. –No. 12 South Carolina softball will have a bye in the first round of the SEC Tournament next week in Columbia, Mo., while it awaits the winner of the Texas A&M and Mississippi State game, the league office released today as the SEC Tournament bracket was finalized with the completion of games today.
With 15 SEC wins on the year, the Gamecocks earned the No. 3 seed while the Bulldogs finished at No. 11 and the Aggies at No. 6.
Joining the Gamecocks on their side of the bracket is seventh-seeded Arkansas, 10th-seeded Kentucky and the No. 2 seed Georgia Bulldogs.
Carolina will open the SEC Tournament on Thursday at noon ET on SEC Network against either Texas A&M or Mississippi State.
The Gamecocks are 7-5 against teams on their side of the bracket this season.
The winner of that game will move on to the first semifinal game on Friday at 3:00 PM ET on ESPNU. The 2018 SEC Tournament Championship game is set for Saturday at 8:00 PM ET on ESPN2.
