The 2025 Minor League Baseball season has wrapped up. Here’s what the Gamecocks on the Farm did during the 2025 MiLB season.
Triple A
- Jonah Bride played in 43 games for the St. Paul Saints, the Triple-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. Bride hit .281 with 28 runs scored, nine doubles, five home runs and 24 RBI. Bride had a .876 OPS and hit a pair of home runs in the final series against Memphis (Sept. 16-21).
- Garrett Gainey played in four different levels in the Tampa Bay Rays organization this season, ending his season in Durham for the Bulls. Overall, Gainey was 7-5 with a 3.39 ERA and 81 strikeouts. He earned the win for Durham at Charlotte on Sept. 20, striking out four in five innings of work.
- Brett Kerry appeared in 25 games with 23 starts for the Salt Lake Bees, the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels. Kerry ended the season with 90 strikeouts and a 1.61 WHIP to go along with eight wins. He ended the season with a win at Las Vegas, striking out three in seven innings.
- Will Sanders went 10-6 on the year with 123 strikeouts in 123.1 innings splitting between Iowa and Knoxville in the Chicago Cubs organization. Sanders made 26 appearances and 23 starts on the season. He had nine strikeouts in 3.2 innings against Worcester on Aug. 14.
Double A
- Wes Clarke ended his season with the Corpus Christi Hooks, the Double-A affiliate of the Houston Astros. Clarke played in 63 games for Corpus Christi and had nine doubles, a triple, 12 home runs and 32 RBI. He had two home runs in a win at Tulsa on Aug. 28.
- Thomas Farr made 25 appearances out of the bullpen for the Chattanooga Lookouts, the Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. Farr had a 3.29 ERA and struck out 23 batters. Farr had three strikeouts in two innings at Birmingham on Aug. 9.
- James Hicks came back from injury to close out his 2025 season at Corpus Christi. He made 11 appearances and 10 starts for the Hooks and struck out 46 batters in 46.2 innings of work. Hicks earned the win, striking out 12 batters in six innings at San Antonio on Sept. 3.
- Daniel Lloyd ended the season with a 7-5 record and 3.70 ERA for the Chesapeake Baysox, the Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. He had a save and 47 strikeouts on the season. He had three strikeouts in 1.1 innings at New Hampshire on Sept. 11.
- Jack Mahoney made 24 starts for the Hartford Yard Goats, the Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. He struck out 81 batters and had three wins this season. He ended the year striking out five in four innings at Richmond on Sept. 12.
- Cole Messina played in both Spokane and Hartford this season in the Colorado Rockies organization. He had a .258 batting average with seven home runs and 42 RBI between the two levels. Messina had a pair of hits in his final game at Richmond on Sept. 14.
- TJ Shook helped the Binghamton Rumble Ponies to an Eastern League championship. Shook split time between Syracuse and Binghamton in the New York Mets organization and was 6-2 with a 2.41 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 56 innings pitched. Shook also had a 1.16 WHIP.
- Braylen Wimmer saw action at both Spokane and Hartford in the Colorado Rockies organization. Wimmer hit .296 with 17 home runs and 69 RBI to go along with 72 runs scored and 30 doubles. Wimmer went 3-for-5 with two doubles in his final game of the season at Richmond on Sept. 14.
High A
- Julian Bosnic made 42 appearances with one start for the Greensboro Grasshoppers, the High-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Bosnic went 6-2 with a 3.51 ERA and had 58 strikeouts in 51.1 innings pitched. He earned the win against Greenville on Aug. 15, striking out three in two innings.
- Noah Hall made 25 appearances with 21 starts for the Brooklyn Cyclones, the High-A affiliate of the New York Mets. Hall had five wins and a 2.72 ERA with 115 strikeouts in 112.2 innings pitched. Hall had seven strikeouts in 6.1 innings pitched at Hudson Valley on Aug. 8.
Low A
- Cade Austin made 37 appearances with one start for the Tampa Tarpons, the Single-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. Austin was 5-1 with a save and a 3.08 ERA, striking out 57 batters in 52.2 innings pitched. Austin had three strikeouts in two innings against St. Lucie on Aug. 5.
- Colin Burgess played in 42 games for the Augusta Greenjackets, the Single-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. Burgess had six doubles, two home runs and 15 RBI. He was 4-for-6 with a double and an RBI on Aug. 13 at Kannapolis.
- Eli Jones made 23 appearances and 18 starts for the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels, the Single-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. Jones had 84 strikeouts on the year and a pair of wins. Jones had five strikeouts in four innings at Dunedin on Aug. 28.
- Ethan Petry played in 24 games for the Fredericksburg Nationals, the Single-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. Petry hit .287 with three doubles, a triple, two home runs and 10 RBI. He hit his first home run as a professional on Aug. 16 against Salem.
- Chris Veach has made 43 appearances out of the bullpen for Tampa this season. Veach had seven saves and a pair of wins to go with a 2.53 ERA. He struck out 75 batters in 57 innings pitched. Veach struck out four in 2.1 innings at Fort Myers on Aug. 21.
Independent
- George Callil has played in six games for Evansville of the Frontier League and had a hit, two runs scored, a walk and an RBI.
- Eddy Demurias made 36 appearances and nine starts for the Charleston Dirty Birds of the Atlantic League. He had five wins and 86 strikeouts in 72.2 innings pitched.
- TJ Hopkins played in 72 games for the Chicago Dogs of the American Association. He had 23 doubles, a triple, 11 home runs and 48 RBI while hitting .276 on the season.
- Kyle Martin played in 96 games for the Cleburne Railroaders in the American Association. He hit .279 with 77 runs scored, 21 doubles, a triple, 29 home runs and 90 RBI.
