Women's Tennis Concludes Day Two of ITA Sectionals
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – South Carolina women’s tennis wrapped up day two of the ITA Sectional Championships on Friday in Chapel Hill.
Daniela Piani opened the afternoon facing North Carolina’s Theodora Rabman, but came up short, falling 6-4, 6-1.
In the qualifying consolation round of 16, Kaitlyn Carnicella earned a 6-3, 7(7)-6(4) win over Boston University’s Gabriella Mikaul to advance to the consolation quarterfinals, where she will receive a bye.
Bella Bergqvist Larsson and Carnicella battled in doubles but came up short to Syracuse, 6-1, 6-2.
