Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina softball had two more players earn postseason honors recently as senior Danielle Quinones was named to the second team Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-Region Southeast Team, and Sophomore Kristin Hall was named to the NCAA Softball Region One All-Tournament Team.
Quinones led the Gamecocks with a .318 average and led the team in doubles with 17. The La Puente, Calif. native was second on the team in home runs with eight and was also named All-SEC earlier this season. Quinones was one of three four SEC players named to the second team.
Hall produced a .500 hitting percentage at the NCAA Regional in Tucson as she went 3-for-6. The Palm Bay, Fla. native earned the honor as a utility player. This is the first honor for Hall. For the season, she saw action in 28 games and hit .235, playing mostly in the designated player position.
