COLUMBIA, S.C. — Thursday’s SEC Women’s Tennis Tournament matches have been moved up to 9 a.m. With the forecast for inclement weather on Thursday, the decision was made to move up the start of the contests in order to better facilitate completion of the matches before the courts become unplayable.

Weather permitting, matches will still be played outside at Carolina Tennis Center between Kentucky/Ole Miss and Alabama versus today’s winner of Auburn/Tennessee. If play is forced to move inside, Alabama’s match will be the first one on at the USC Field House since the Crimson Tide are the highest seed in the two morning matches. Any match moved indoors will also begin with singles played first instead of doubles.

The afternoon matches between South Carolina/Mississippi State and LSU/Missouri are still set for 2 p.m. starts. If play moves inside, LSU’s match will begin first since the Tigers have the higher seed.
