Columbia, S.C. – The South Carolina baseball team returns home this weekend to resume conference play with a three-game series vs. Vanderbilt. This weekend’s series marks the third of the season in SEC play. South Carolina owns a 16-9 overall record and a 1-5 record in the SEC. Carolina leads the series with the Commodores 29-6, including 17 consecutive wins vs. Vanderbilt. The Commodores enter the weekend with a 13-10 record and 2-4 in the SEC, one game ahead of Carolina in the Eastern Division.
The pitching rotation for both teams this weekend is also set:
Friday (7 p.m.):
SOUTH CAROLINA: Sr. LHP Steven Bondurant (2-1, 4.50 ERA)
VANDERBILT: So. LHP Jeremy Sowers (0-2, 2.98 ERA)
Saturday (4 p.m.):
SOUTH CAROLINA: Fr. RHP Conor Lalor (4-0, 1.33 ERA)
VANDERBILT: Jr. RHP Robert Ransom (2-0, 3.05 ERA)
Sunday (1:30 p.m.):
SOUTH CAROLINA: Jr. LHP David Marchbanks (4-2, 2.42 ERA)
VANDERBILT: Fr. LHP Ryan Mullins (1-3, 2.78 ERA)

Tickets to the April 2 home baseball game featuring South Carolina and Clemson will be available to Gamecock Club members this Friday, March 28 at the USC Athletic Ticket Office on Rosewood Drive. The ticket office hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Telephone orders will also be taken (1-800-4SC-FANS or 777-4274). Tickets are $6 each. Gamecock Club members are limited to purchase up to four tickets for that game.
