Columbia, S.C. –
Game times and dates have been announced for the 2013 NCAA Super Regional in Chapel Hill, N.C. between South Carolina (42-18) and North Carolina (55-9). The super regional at Boshamer Stadium is set to begin on Friday, June 7 with first pitch at 1 p.m. and the game televised on ESPN2. Saturday’s game is scheduled for Noon and will be televised on ESPN. The if necessary game for Sunday will start at 1 p.m. and be televised on ESPN.

South Carolina is making its 11th NCAA Super Regional appearance in the last 14 years, one of only two schools in the country to have accomplished the feat in that span.

A minimum of 45 hours of super-regional television will be provided by family of ESPN channels, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. Consult local listings for specific games shown in each area of the country. As many as 15 national broadcast windows could appear on the three ESPN networks from June 7-10.

The following four super regionals will be played Friday, June 7, Saturday, June 8, and Sunday, June 9 (if necessary). The national seed is indicated before the team name, while updated records through the regionals are in parenthesis.

The determination of the Men’s College World Series order of first-round games both Saturday, June 15, and Sunday, June 16, will be announced Monday, June 10. The ESPN family of networks and www.NCAA.com/cws will release the CWS game dates and times as soon as they are available. The 67th College World Series begins play Saturday, June 15, at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
