Watch Tuesday’s Game Live on WatchESPN

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Due the current weather situation in Chapel Hill and with the prospect of more inclement weather throughout the rest of the day and evening Monday, game three between South Carolina and North Carolina has been moved to Tuesday at Noon. ESPN2 will televise the game along with WatchESPN, with the winner advancing to the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.

The Gamecocks are expected to send freshman left-hander Jack Wynkoop (7-3, 2.92 ERA) to the hill. He will be opposed by Tar Heel right-hander Benton Moss (8-1, 3.27 ERA).

North Carolina (56-10) posted a walk-off 6-5 win in the series lidlifter on Saturday afternoon, but South Carolina (43-19) staved off elimination with an 8-0 shutout win on Sunday behind the four-hit complete game performance from sophomore lefthander Jordan Montgomery.

The winner of the South Carolina-North Carolina series will face North Carolina State in the first round of the CWS in Omaha. UCLA (42-17) and fourth-seeded LSU (55-9) are also on the same side of the bracket.
