Chapel Hill, NC – South Carolina and top-seeded North Carolina will meet at 7 p.m. Monday night at Boshamer Stadium in the deciding game of the best-of-3 Super Regional series, it was announced tonight. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2. The winner will advance to the College World Series in Omaha, which begins Saturday, June 15.

The deciding game can also be heard live on the Gamecock IMG Radio Network with Andy Demetra and Tommy Moody describing all of the action.

The Gamecocks are expected to send freshman left-hander Jack Wynkoop (7-3, 2.92 ERA) to the hill. He will be opposed by Tar Heel right-hander Benton Moss (8-1, 3.78 ERA).

North Carolina (56-10) posted a walk-off 6-5 win in the series lidlifter on Saturday afternoon, but South Carolina (43-19) staved off elimination with an 8-0 shutout win on Sunday behind the four-hit complete game performance from sophomore lefthander Jordan Montgomery.

The winner of the South Carolina-North Carolina series will face the winner of the North Carolina State-Rice Super Regional in the first round of the CWS in Omaha. UCLA (42-17) and fourth-seeded LSU (55-9) are also on the same side of the bracket.
