South Carolina and The Citadel will make up Sunday’s postponed baseball game this Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. at Riley Park in Charleston, S.C. South Carolina finished 2-0 over the weekend at the ESPN 1340 Radio Shootout in Charleston, S.C. with wins vs. James Madison and Old Dominion.
The Gamecocks lead the series with The Citadel that began in 1900. South Carolina owns a 106-42-1 record vs. the Bulldogs. Both teams split the two games played in 2002 with Carolina defeating The Citadel 2-0 in Columbia and The Citadel earning a 5-1 win in Charleston.
South Carolina returns home this weekend hosting a series with Duquesne beginning Friday afternoon. First pitch at Sarge Frye Field on Friday is set for 3 p.m. with Saturday and Sunday game to begin at 1:30 p.m.
