Indoors: 
Competed in just four meets for the Gamecocks during the indoor season… Clocked in at 45.99 at the USC Indoor Open to propell himself into the 2020 NCAA Indoor Championships, that were cancelled… Was a part of the Gamecocks 4x400m relay squad that had the second fastest time of the indoor season at 3:06.63 at the Columbia Challenge… Made the SEC Championships final in the 400m after a prelim time of 46.59 but scratched in the final due to an illness… Made his 400m season debut at the Tiger Paw Invite, taking fifth in a time of 46.37.
Outdoors: Cancelled.

2019
Indoors: 
Made the most of his first year with the Gamecocks, posting one of the finest individual indoor seasons in South Carolina history… set a new program record in the indoor 400m in his first solo race in Garnet & Black, running 45.84 to win the Carolina Challenge… lowered the program record to 45.72 the next week at the Tiger Paw Invitational… won the SEC indoor 400m title, running 45.89 in prelims and another new record, 45.69, in the final… his SEC indoor track event title was the first for a Gamecock since 2009… easily qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships, where he ran 46.67 to grab a spot in the final… ended his indoor season running another 400m school record, 45.25, to finish fourth in the nation and earn first-team All-America honors… was a huge part of the 4x400m relay’s best indoor season in over a decade… helped the Gamecocks win the mile relay at the Dr. Sander Challenge and the Carolina Challenge… the team’s 3:05.68 at the Carolina Challenge was a new Carolina school record… led the 4×4 to a fifth-place finish and first-team All-America honors at the NCAA Championships. 
Outdoors: Built on his record-breaking indoor season to finish his first outdoor campaign as a national champion in the 400mH and a conference champion in the 400m… won the 400mH at the Spec Towns Invitational, running 50.34… ran the 400m the following week at the Gamecock Invitational, setting a new school record with a time of 44.53… that was the fastest time on the 2019 world leaderboard at the time, earning the junior USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week honors… won the 400m hurdles at Penn Relays… elected to run the 400m at the SEC Championships, where he won the title with a time of 44.60 in the final… became the first Gamecock ever to win both SEC 400m crowns in the same year… was the first Gamecock to win any SEC outdoor men’s title since 2010… went back to the 400m hurdles for the NCAA postseason… was the top qualifier at the NCAA East Regional with a time of 48.54 in the second round… ran 49.01 at the NCAA Championships semifinals to earn the top qualifying spot for the final… won the NCAA 400mH title with a time of 48.48, second-best in Gamecock history, to win the championship… recovered from a slow start in the NCAA final and trailed going into the very last hurdle before using his late closing speed to chase down Texas Tech’s Norman Grimes in the final strides… was the first Gamecock since 2010 to win an NCAA men’s title and the program’s second 400mH national champion… also earned first-team All-America laurels in the 4x400m relay, helping the team finish fourth at the SEC Championships, fourth at the NCAA East Regional and eighth at the NCAA Championships… won the 400m hurdles at the NACAC U23 Championships in Queretaro, Mexico to begin his summer season, running 49.77 to win the final.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Spent two seasons at College of the Sequoias in Visalia, Calif., establishing himself as one of the top junior college student-athletes in the nation… Won CCCAA California State Championships in the 400m, 400m hurdles and 4x400m relay in both 2017 and 2018… Led Sequoias to a CCCAA team title in 2017… Ran a 400mH time of 49.39 in 2017, the fastest time in the JuCo ranks that season… Ran 45.12 to win the 400m at the 2017 Mt. Sac Relays… Won the 400m and 400mH events each time he competed in 2018… Notched a his best 400m time, 49.02, to win the 2018 Sun Angel Classic… Won the 400mH at the 2017 USATF Junior Championships, running 49.51 in the finals… Earned the 400mH title at the 2017 Pan American U20 Championships with a meet record time of 49.02.

HIGH SCHOOL
Participated in track, football and wrestling at Raytown South High School in Kansas City, Mo., where he was coached in track ay Cezar Morales… Won two Missouri state titles in the 400m… Set several school records.

PERSONAL
Son of Milton and Iecia Hall… Has a brother, Milton, and a sister, Breanna, both of whom also ran track… Majoring in sociology… Joined the Gamecocks so he could train under the legendary Coach Frye… Chose Carolina over Florida, Oregon, Southern California, Alabama, LSU and UCLA.
