Indoors: Took part in three meets, all in the 60m… won his prelim heat at the USC Indoor Open with a time of 6.92… ran his season best at the SEC Championships, a time of 6.89 to finish 23rd.
Outdoors: Ran the 100m at three meets… qualified for the final of the Buccaneer Invitational, finishing third with a season best of 10.57… placed 11th in the 100m at Penn Relays.
HIGH SCHOOL
Was a two-sport star at Melbourne Central High School… Won the FHSAA 4A state championship in the 100m as a junior in 2017, running 10.61 ito a headwind in the final… Also captured a region title in the 100 as a junior… Ran his PR, 10.44, at the Eastside Invitational… Finished third in the state meet in 2017, when he was a district champion… Also lettered in football and was ranked as the 85th-best player in the state of Florida according to Rivals.
