Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina right-handed pitcher Jordan Propst was selected in the 49th round of the 2010 MLB Draft by the Kansas City Royals. Propst is the third Gamecock player along with Whit Merrifield (9th round) and Parker Bangs (31st round) to be selected by the Royals this year. He is the seventh current Gamecock player to be chosen in this year’s draft.
