Columbia, S.C. – South Carolina finished the 2010 MLB Draft with seven current players drafted along with eight members of the 09-10 signing class. Current players selected in the 2010 Draft were: right-handed pitcher Sam Dyson (4th round/Toronto Blue Jays), infielder/outfielder Whit Merrifield (9th round/Kansas City Royals), right-handed pitcher Blake Cooper (12th round/Arizona Diamondbacks), infielder Bobby Haney (22nd round/San Francisco Giants), left-handed pitcher Steven Neff (23rd round/Kansas City Royals), right-handed pitcher/utility player Parker Bangs (31st round/Kansas City Royals), right-handed pitcher Jordan Propst (49th round/Kansas City Royals).
