The University of South Carolina men’s golf team shot its third-consecutive round of 301, finishing in tenth place, with a three-day total of 901 at the Carpet Capital Collegiate in Dalton, Ga.
The Georgia Tech men’s golf team won its third-straight title at the Carpet Capital Collegiate. Tennesse finished second, followed by Wake Forest. The 54-hole tournament, which featured 10 top-25 teams, was contested at the par-72, 6,906-yar Farm Golf Club.
Junior Johan Kok shot his lowest round of the tournament today, with a one-over-par score of 73. Kok’s three day total of 224 would tie him for 27th.
Brent Delahoussaye and Nash Elliot both tied for 37th with a three-round score of 227. Freshman Martin Rominger fired a scores of 74-76-80, finishing in 44th place.
Rounding out the five-man team is Scott Feaster. Feaster, who struggled the first day of compeition, improved as the tournamnet progressed. Feaster tallied a total of 232 (80-77-75), to place 51st.
