What are your goals for the NCAA Indoor Championships?

I just want to run hard and contribute as many points as possible to my team. My goal is to win. I just want to run fast. That is my goal everytime I step onto the track, to run as fast as possible.

How did you feel about your performance and your team’s performance at the SEC Championships last weekend?

I feel pretty good about the way we all ran. We all contributed to our team’s performance as everyone ran their hardest. We did well, but there is still more to come.

What was it like running at the World Championships? What person that you met there really inspired you or taught you a lot?

Competing at the World Championships was a dream come true. It is as close to the Olympics that you can get without going to the Olympics. It was just an amazing experience. We, as a team, all had fun and all helped each other. The whole team was helpful. If there was one person that really sticks out in my mind, it is Monique Hannigan. She told me to just relax and run like it was just another race.

What was it like getting to go to China, experiencing things not just on the track, but off?

China was a great trip. Everywhere we went the people were great. They treated us with the utmost respect and were very nice. They were all excited that we were there.

What advice would you give to this year’s freshman class running track or to any high school athlete that would like to run track in college?

Give it 110% everytime you step out on the track. Never give up. Stay positive and keep faith.
